Pamplin Media Group welcomes letters to the editor submissions. All submissions should focus on problems and solutions, not name-calling and insults. All submissions will be edited for grammar, libel, brevity, clarity and appropriate taste. Anonymity inspires incivility and disinformation, which runs counter to our role as community watchdogs. Therefore, we require all submissions to be signed, with a first and last name and hometown. That information will be published unless there is a compelling reason not to include it. Submissions must consist of an email and phone number for verification purposes. This information will not be published or shared.
Letters to the Editor:
- Letters should be exclusive to Pamplin Media Group. We do not publish open letters or third-party letters.
- Letters should be of general interest, no more than 250 words in length, and must include the writer’s full name and city of residence.
- Writers are limited to one letter per calendar month. There is no guarantee that all letters will be printed.
